From a business task to a useful experience

Bring a decision kit, not a feature wish list.

Use these prompts to turn a frustrating moment into a project we can discuss.

The person and moment

Who is using the service? What has happened just before they arrive? What would let them leave with confidence?

The current path

List the pages, messages, files and people involved. Mark where information is copied or someone must ask what to do.

The smallest useful outcome

Choose one change that can be tried. Explain what the person should now understand or be able to complete.

The awkward example

Bring a correction, a missing detail or a repeated request. Use invented data or remove anything sensitive.

The decisions to own

Name the commercial, content, language and operational reviewers. Note provider dependencies and specialist questions.

The acceptance conversation

Write a short scenario: starting here, this person can do this task, see this outcome and recover from this mistake.

Worked planning example

A hypothetical software supplier has a busy product page, but every enquiry asks which edition fits a particular workflow. A first project might clarify editions and collect a relevant use case. A full account portal could wait until recurring customer tasks justify it. This illustrates a decision; it is not a client result or a promised commercial improvement.

Send the short version or use the notes to examine a specific question.
